Highest quality board for the most demanding bass applications - 5/8 inch grade A MDF (medium density fibre board). Great inner bracing, no sidewall flexing with these boxes. They are designed to load the bass in a vehicle to give extended wave length and maximum performance to the subwoofers. Hear the difference! 

 

 All exposed surfaces are armor coated with a textured black urethane finish that's tough as nails. Humidity and even liquids have no effect.

About Vented Boxes

Advantages:

  • About 3 to 4 dB more efficient than sealed boxes.

  • Handles upper bass frequencies better, with less distortion.

  • Magnet structure is in good cooling environment.

  • Well designed vented box allows for greater low frequency extension.

Disadvantages:

  • Size

  • More difficult to design. Poor alignment can make for some really poor sounding bass.
