CSS12L74 Performance curve

This system gets you very accurate, powerful low bass that goes down below 20 Hz. It is -3 dB at 22 Hz and has "useable" [-10 dB] response to 17.5 Hz. Wow! This should really appeal to the audiophiles. The 5" I.D. port is 19 3/8" long, so remember to allow for that in your enclosure volume calculations. You'll also need a pretty big amp, and if you have lots of source material with high level bass under 20 Hz, a steep 20 Hz High Pass filter for full power handling. If you can put all this together.....wow! [again] Great for home theater but keep in mind that this woofer is not shielded. Cross over at 100 Hz or lower.
